This is our largest youth networking event and will take place annually in collaboration with established youth programs in Ghana and academic institutions like universities and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. The Camp will host several leadership symposia and youth networking events for members of different ages, professional or interest brackets. Attendees will mostly be overseas Ghanaian students (ideally members of our organization or affiliate organizations) who are on vacation or project assignments in Ghana over the summer and wish to network with their collegiate or professional peers in Ghana . Themes that will be covered include social entrepreneurship, professional and career options in Ghana , business opportunities for investment in Ghana etc
Local network events
Members who wish to link up with other Ghanaians locally to have fun and interact will host events like parties, get-togethers and outings. We can facilitate such interaction or even support it with a small donation. An example is our regular US East Coast social get-togethers for students in the New England area and beyond who can attend.
Peer-to-peer (P2P) Mentorship project
Within our wide network we encourage more senior or higher placed members to pair up with others in upcoming positions within their professional or academic fields. This pairing will hopefully facilitate mentorship or mere exchange of ideas, experience, know-how and good advice.
Advocacy
The Alliance will from time to time issue position statements on development issues in Ghana as a way of voicing our synthesized views and making a contribution to our nation's development agenda via intellectual discourse and sustained action.
Fundraising
We will develop programs to raise funds for development projects through Gsoluxions ( www.gsoluxions.com ) or our projects partners.
Our success is shallow if it's not rooted in the development of our nation and the happiness of our people
